I decieded to go down this path of research becuase I thought people would be interested in it. Also, I am interested in the cultural and political impace SouthPark really has on the nation. I used the guided question, "How does the social satire of "South Park," effect politics and culture in America compared to other politically driven programs?" but, there were more specific questions that needed to be answered before answering this question. Questions like, what other programs are politically driven? How does the average American feel about these programs? Where did this type of program stem from and why was it created in the first place? How is SouthPark it really a "social" satire?
